Join us for an unforgettable weekend of family fun and excitement at the Boscombe Carnival and Parade, a vibrant celebration filled with theatre, music, poetry, bubbles, circus performances, dance, and free workshops. This exciting event will take place in the Boscombe Precinct and is open to everyone – and the best part is, it's free!

Saturday, 24th August: 11am - 8pm
An exciting day of family fun activities with something for children, teenagers and adults! The festivities will conclude with a Disco Pirate Party, promising a fun-filled evening.

Sunday, 25th August: 11am - 4pm
Missed the events on Saturday? Not to worry, Sunday is another jam-packed day full of exciting workshops & good vibes. The day will culminate with a lively parade starting from 2pm.

Saturday 24th August Event Highlights:

High Street Workshops:

  • 11am - 2pm Steamship Circus: Family fun pick up & play workshops, walkabout + performance at 2pm
  • 11am - 12:30pm & 1:30pm - 3pm BH Sewing Things: Pirate costume workshop
  • 11am - 12pm Treehouse Theatre: Pirate Workshop
  • 11am - Rhythm Generation: Drum workshop
  • 12:30pm Squidge and Pop: Spectacular bubble displays workshops
  • 1pm Treehouse Theatre: Pirate Storytelling
  • 3pm Squidge and Pop: Bubble workshop

Performances:

  • 11am - 2pm Pipedown Collective Wandering Poets: travelling to local cafes, creating a community poem
  • 12pm - Music with Nicole McNally
  • 2pm - Music with Brother Louis
  • 5pm - 6pm Sound of Soul Choir: Performance & singalong on the Precinct centre stage
  • 6pm -8pm Skabba: Abba meets Ska music with an evening disco, pirate party

Join us for two days of free entertainment, featuring the best local talent and interactive experiences for all ages. Enjoy the parade, learn a new skill, and become part of the community celebration. Fancy dress is recommended!
